From Waldringfield to Walton

My friend Mike and I just spent the weekend tootling around the Suffolk coastal waters and rivers in my 14 foot Wanderer dinghy. We sailed from Waldringfield, to Felixstowe Ferry, to Walton-on-the-Naze, where Phil has a beach hut, and then back via Woodbridge on the Sunday.

It was a fine weekend, made all the better by a nice man from my sailing club sending me - unbidden - a photo of us sailing on the River Deben on Sunday afternoon.

I like this photo. Not least cos the telltales are parallel.
